Service introduction Nha Trang city 1 day tour

Nha Trang is not only famous for its stunning beaches but also home to numerous fascinating cultural and historical attractions. Let’s discover the must-visit destinations in this beautiful coastal city.

Institute of Oceanography – Explore a Miniature Ocean in the Heart of Nha Trang

Located at No. 1 Cau Da, about 6km from the city center, this is one of Vietnam’s leading marine research centers, founded in 1922 by the French. It houses over 20,000 specimens of marine life, along with many rare fish species kept in a modern glass tank system.

The highlight is a whale skeleton nearly 26 meters long – one of the largest in Vietnam. The institute also features a 3D cinema area and a submarine model simulating the ocean. It’s an ideal destination for both children and adults passionate about exploring the underwater world.

Long Son Pagoda – A Renowned Buddhist Temple

Long Son Pagoda is the largest and most famous temple in the heart of Nha Trang, built in the late 19th century. It is best known for its giant white Buddha statue seated atop Trai Thuy hill, standing 24 meters tall and visible from many parts of the city.

In addition to its traditional Buddhist architecture, the pagoda is also a center for charitable activities and regular meditation retreats. The path to the Buddha statue consists of 193 steps, lined with bas-reliefs depicting the life of the Buddha.

Stone Church – A Masterpiece of Architecture in the Heart of the City

The Stone Church, also known as Christ the King Cathedral, is one of Nha Trang’s iconic landmarks. With its unique Gothic architecture harmoniously blended with Eastern touches, the church attracts a large number of visitors. Inside, the solemn space is illuminated by vibrant natural light filtering through colorful stained-glass windows, creating a sacred and awe-inspiring atmosphere.

Do Theatre – A Unique Cultural Symbol of Nha Trang

This is one of the most modern cultural and artistic venues in the coastal city. Inspired by the traditional Central Vietnamese fishing trap called the “đó,” the theatre impresses with its unique bamboo-woven dome design.

Inside is a multifunctional performance space that regularly hosts both contemporary and traditional art shows. A standout performance is “Rối Mơ,” a captivating show that blends lights, sound, and expressive dance into a mesmerizing experience.

Hoang Gia Pearl – The Pearl Center of Nha Trang

Hoang Gia Pearl showcases the entire process of culturing, harvesting, and crafting authentic sea pearls in Khanh Hoa. Visitors can tour the production workshop, admire various precious pearls, and shop for high-end jewelry products.

Beyond its commercial value, the center also offers insight into pearl farming – one of the region’s signature marine-based economic strengths.

Ponagar Towers – A Cultural Heritage of the Cham Civilization

Ponagar Towers is a representative Cham monument, built between the 8th and 13th centuries. The complex consists of four towers and two shrines, with the main tower standing 23 meters tall and dedicated to the goddess Ponagar – the Mother Goddess of the Cham people.
