Nha Trang has always been on my list of favorite destinations—not just for its stunning turquoise beaches but also for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse cuisine. This time, I decided to spend 3 days and 2 nights exploring this beautiful coastal city in a fun, fulfilling, and budget-friendly way. If you’re planning a trip here, let’s experience it together!
1. The Best Time to Visit Nha Trang
Nha Trang enjoys a mild climate with warm sunshine all year round, making it perfect for travel activities. However, to have the most enjoyable trip, you should choose the right time to visit:
- Peak Season (January – August): This is the ideal period for traveling to Nha Trang as the weather is clear, with little rain and calm seas. However, flight tickets, hotels, and services may be more expensive due to the high number of tourists.
- Low Season (September – December): During this time, hotel rates, flight tickets, and tour prices are more affordable. However, you should keep an eye on the weather forecast as sudden showers are possible. If you want to save on travel costs, this is a good time to visit.

Tip: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly 3-day-2-night trip to Nha Trang, consider traveling at the end of August or in September. This way, you can still enjoy the city’s wonderful atmosphere while keeping expenses reasonable.
2. How to Get to Nha Trang
Getting to Nha Trang
Depending on your departure location and budget, you can choose from the following transportation options to reach Nha Trang:

- Motorbike Rental: Renting a motorbike costs around 100,000 – 150,000 VND per day, making it a great option if you want to explore the city freely.

3. Review of Let’s Fly Travel’s 3-Day-2-Night Nha Trang Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Long Son Pagoda – Nha Trang Cathedral – Yen Village or VinWonders Nha Trang
You’ll arrive at Cam Ranh International Airport in the morning. As soon as you exit the terminal, the Let’s Fly Travel vehicle and tour guide will be ready to pick you up. After a 40-minute drive, you’ll reach Nha Trang city center, ready to start your adventure.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll check in at the hotel and take a short rest before the afternoon itinerary begins. At this point, you have two options:
Visit Long Son Pagoda – Nha Trang Cathedral – Yen Village
In the afternoon, you’ll visit Long Son Pagoda, one of the most famous temples in Nha Trang. The highlight here is the giant white Buddha statue perched on a hilltop. From this vantage point, you’ll get a panoramic view of the city and the stunning blue coastline. Although you’ll need to climb nearly 200 steps, the breathtaking scenery makes it all worthwhile.

Next, go to the Mountain Church – an ancient Gothic architectural work. The church is built of stone, has many colored glass windows and a towering bell tower. You can take pictures and check-in here because every corner is as beautiful as the West.
The last stop of the afternoon is Yen Village, where you will have the opportunity to learn about Nha Trang’s traditional bird’s nest farming profession.
Or you can choose to spend the whole afternoon exploring VinWonders Nha Trang.
An entertainment paradise with a series of thrilling games, a water park and a magnificent aquarium. The most impressive point of the first day is the VinWonders sea cable car. Sitting in the cabin, watching Nha Trang sea from above is truly an unforgettable experience.

Day 2: Swimming at Tranh beach – Seafood at Fishing Village – Playing thrilling games at Coral Bay
On the second day, you’ll join an island-hopping tour to experience the breathtaking beauty of Nha Trang’s nature.
In the morning, you’ll head to the pier and board a canoe to Tranh Beach, a unique destination where one side is covered in soft white sand, while the other is pebbled. Here, you can try snorkeling or even take a seawalk to explore the vibrant coral reefs. If you’re into adventure, don’t miss out on jet skiing, parasailing, or flyboarding.

Next, you’ll visit the Fishing Village, where numerous floating seafood restaurants serve freshly caught specialties. Enjoy steamed crabs, grilled shrimp, seafood porridge, and more -all fresh and reasonably priced.
In the afternoon, the journey continues to Coral Bay, where the crystal-clear waters offer the perfect spot for a refreshing swim. You can relax, take stunning photos, or simply soak in the island vibes.

Before wrapping up your trip, head to the Ponagar Hot Mineral Mud Bath for a relaxing soak. The mineral-rich mud helps detoxify the skin, relieve stress, and promote overall well-being. Immersing yourself in the warm, soothing mud is an incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating experience—the perfect way to end your Nha Trang adventure.
