Day 1: Can Tho Arrival – Ho Chi Minh City (Lunch)
Tour Guide & Driver pick you up from Can Tho Airport. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch you will visit Ho Chi Minh City.
Visit Pink Church – Tan Dinh Church Saigon is a Romanian-style church in Ho Chi Minh City, where you can see intricate Gothic and Renaissance elements that have managed to survive Vietnam’s turbulent … Nearby the gate are two massive bell towers, while the bright pink church is fitted with three beautifully-decorated Italian marble altars.
Visit War Remnant Museum. Housed in a former United States administration building and formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, the War Remnants Museumis the most popular museum of Ho Chi Minh City. It gathers a collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam’s wars.
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Sai Gon Central Post Office. Located next to each other and right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office are two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture.
Visit Coffee Apartment and enjoy coffee in this stunning building.
05:00 PM: Check in Hotel and relax. Free time in evening to visit Ben Thanh night market.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels & Cao Dai (Breakfast/Lunch)
07:00 AM: Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel.
07:30 AM: Tour Guide pick you up from hotel robby and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area!
You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking. There’re a lot more to enjoy, even a chance to fire real AK bullets…
11:00 AM: Head to Tay Ninh Province to visit Cao Dai Temple and attend a morning Caodaism ritual praying. The Temple with its ceremonies is a unique example of the combination of the Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam.
12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, head back to Ho Chi Minh City (2,5 hours driving). Tour finished at your hotel. You will have free time in evening to enjoy local food at Ben Thanh Street Food Market, Bui Vien Street, Chill Sky Bar… nearby your hotel.
Day 3: HCM – My Tho – Ben Tre (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
07:00 AM: Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel. After that you will check out hotel.
08:30 AM: Tour Guide and driver will pick you up and depart to My Tho.
Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. The beautiful structure of pagoda features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian architectural styles. Specially, the extremely beautiful structures in the pagoda are two triumphal arches bearing an art of inserting bottle and porcelain fragments which create harmonious pictures illustrating the Buddha’s legendaries.
In My Tho, Boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Unicorn Island.
Passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here. Enjoy Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử – A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) and enjoy seasonal tropical fruit (included).
Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees.
Boarding the motorboat and heading to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted.
Taking a horse cart to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music.
Noon: Have lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, boarding the motorboat returning back to car and heading to Can Tho City (2,5 hours driving). Check in hotel in Can Tho.
06:00 PM: Enjoy dinner cruise in Hau Giang River. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho Floating Market & Departure (Breakfast)
05:00 AM: Check out hotel (We will prepare breakfirst box for you). Tour guide pick you up and transfer to the wharf to board a motorboat for sightseeing the Cai Rang Floating Market which is the biggest and most colorful floating market in the Mekong Delta’s region.
After the Cai Rang market, continuing cruising through small creeks to a local noodle factory. Boarding the motorboat returning back to car and heading to Can Tho Airport. Tour finished.
