The Cai River (also known as Phu Loc River or Cu River) is one of the prominent tourist destinations in Nha Trang. The river originates from Hon Gia Le at an elevation of 1,812 meters, flowing through the districts of Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh, and Nha Trang before emptying into the Cua Lon.

This is the largest river in Khanh Hoa province, with a length of nearly 80 kilometers. The Cai River has 15 tributaries, of which 7 flow through the Nha Trang area. With its source rising from elevations of 900 to 2,000 meters and tributaries measuring less than 20 kilometers, this river creates strong currents and numerous rapids.
